Shari Stillman-Corbitt, Psy.D.

    Dr. Shari Corbitt joined TouchStone Treatment Centers as Executive Director in February 2009 after serving two years as Clinical Director at Sierra Tucson Treatment Center in Arizona. Prior to that, she was Clinical Director of the Indian Health Council, Inc. on the Rincon Reservation in Pauma Valley, CA and Program Director at Casa Palmera in San Diego, CA. Originally from New York, she earned her Masters and Doctoral degrees from Yeshiva University in New York City. Her areas of specialization include the treatment of addictions, eating disorders, trauma, and personality disorders. Shari's publications include a new workbook: Eating Addiction - Relapse Prevention Counseling. This workbook is targeted for clinicians working with eating disordered clients, as well as the layperson seeking home study support for early recovery behaviors. She co-authored this new text with Dr. Stephen Grinstead, with whom she will be conducting trainings throughout 2009 in the use of the workbook. A former professional bicycle racer, Shari now enjoys family life with her husband and two young daughters, as well as distance running and yoga practice. She is passionate about providing superior client care and the maintenance of best practices for clients in all levels of care.
