Steve Davidson, PhD

    Steve Davidson, PhD, is a licensed psychologist, with a doctorate from the California School of Professional Psychology in San Diego. His major area of study was clinical psychology, and his minor area of study was organizational psychology.

    In 2000, his monograph was published, describing a new model of personality and of personality change based on the field of operations. He is now working on a book for general publication describing “the operations model of personality” for therapists and coaches.

    Dr. Davidson has worked in a variety of clinical settings with both adults and adolescents, and has been the supervisor of a unit in a psychiatric hospital. He has helped establish a county mental health court, and a county training program on addiction management.

    He is in private practice in Newport Beach, and specializes in testing and treating anxiety, depression, and AD/HD, as well as other disorders of impulse control.
