Randi Ragan

    Randi is the owner and founder of GreenBliss EcoSpa, Los Angeles’ only eco-friendly mobile spa & wellness service. Formerly a documentary filmmaker and writer, Randi spent twelve years in the wellness industry as a yoga and meditation teacher, lecturer, spiritual retreat leader, and creator of customized healing ceremonies and rituals (1994-2006). Her teaching and workshops have been featured at some of Los Angeles’ top yoga studios, and she regularly counseled industry leaders in entertainment, finance and business, with her yoga and meditation techniques. During these years, her work took her to top retreat centers and spas in Southern California, Hawaii, and Mexico. GreenBliss EcoSpa was named one of Los Angeles’ Top 10 Holistic Spas in its very first year in business(2006) by Whole Life Times/Conscious Enlightenment Media, and regularly provides services to top Hollywood celebrities and events including; Emmys, Oscars, and LA Fashion Week. Charity fundraisers such as; Environmental Media Awards, Fox Studios/Habitat for Humanity, and Crystal Charity Ball, as well as corporate clients such as; Target, Stonefield-Josephson, and Coldwell Bankers, have all been the recipients of GreenBliss EcoSpa’s wonderful services. The company has also participated in high-profile product launches for companies such as; Pernod-Ricard, Mars Candies.. Now, in addition to operating the daily business of GreenBliss EcoSpa, Randi currently consults, writes, blogs, and speaks about green living, holistic beauty and health. She is Contributing Editor/Health & Wellness, and writes a monthly article, for the new green fashion and beauty magazine, CocoEco, an exclusive online publication. She has been a featured speaker at the annual BodyWise Conference for teen girls, and regularly speaks at both private and public Los Angeles area schools. She has been featured in an NBC program “Your LA” , on the Expert Village website, and in a video segment on Sprig.com. She was a principle organizer and Host speaker at the 2007 Urban Sustainability Retreat and Salon, and a panelist at the Sustainable Business Council’s forum on Green Health & Wellness. She is currently at work on a book about mindful green living from A to Z. Together with her husband Richard, a massage therapist, Randi is parenting their daughter, Olivia, “greening up” the Los Angeles home they bought six years ago, and driving their converted-diesel cars on vegetable oil. Their home was recently featured in a photo essay on green homes and gardens in Sprig.com.
