Paul Neitzert, Psy.D

    Dr. Neitzert received a master's degree in Clinical Psychology from California State University and a doctorate in Psychology from Pepperdine University. He completed his pre-doctoral clinical internship at Camarillo State Hospital and his post-doctoral training through a fellowship with the Department of Veteran's Affairs Los Angeles forensic outreach program. He has worked in a variety of clinical settings including private practice, in outpatient clinics, as a staff psychologist in public and private hospitals, and as a college and university instructor. He has worked with a variety of clinical populations and is particularly proud of his work with victims of trauma and stress. Dr. Neitzert is a licensed psychologist and provides consultation and group therapy at the Hemet Valley Recovery Center. Personal Statement: One of the pleasures of my work with the Recovery Center is the feeling of being part of a therapeutic community. When a patient chooses to genuinely engage the treatment process to enhance their health, regain control and return to the joy and business of life, the experience becomes truly profound.
