Jamie Marich, M.A. (ABD), LPCC-S, LICDC

    Jamie Marich is a Licensed Supervising Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC-S) and Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor (LICDC) in the state of Ohio. Jamie has worked in mental health residential treatment, and in chemical dependency treatment as an inpatient, outpatient, and dual diagnosis counselor. Jamie is currently a part of PsyCare, Inc., a group practice in Youngstown, Ohio, where she primarily specializes in using EMDR as an adjunct to addiction treatment, in addition to offering general services for PTSD, grief/loss, and spiritual issues. Jamie was the 2008 research poster winner at the EMDRIA conference in Phoenix, AZ, and this research will be published in the Journal of EMDR Practice and Research in 2009. Jamie is a Certified EMDR Therapist, an EMDR Consultant-in-Training, and an avid volunteer with EMDR Humanitarian Assistance Programs. A seasoned presenter and award-winning speech coach, Jamie also offers CEU workshops and trainings for counselors on a regular basis. Jamie is a doctoral candidate in Counseling Studies at Capella University, where she is completing her dissertation research on using EMDR with women in continuing care.
