Carol Teitelbaum, LMFT

    Carol Teitelbaum is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist; she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Education, Educational Psychology, Counseling and Guidance, both from California State University, Northridge. Carol has been a licensed therapist since 1985. Since 1999, she has had a private practice in Rancho Mirage and offers individual and group counseling for trauma, mood disorders, anxiety reduction, stress reduction, grief and marriage issues. She is involved with Prevent Child Abuse Riverside County, and chairs the It Happens to Boys Project. She is the coordinator of the Trauma Response Team for the Desert Chapter of California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT). She has been a workshop leader for a range of groups, from the Desert Sands School District to the National Association of Social Workers to the Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage.
