Bud Williams

Bud Williams is the Executive Director of The Gooden Center in Pasadena, California, a men’s addiction treatment center in operation since 1962. Bud has a Masters of Divinity degree from General Theological Seminary in New York City and a Masters in Business Administration in Nonprofit Management from the University of Judaism in Los Angeles. His undergraduate degree is from Georgia State University, Atlanta. Before coming to The Gooden Center as Executive Director in 1992, Bud completed a year-long residency at the North Atlanta Tri-Hospital Clinical Pastoral Education program in Atlanta. Prior to entering seminary, Bud was a corporate communications consultant with William M. Mercer in Los Angeles for three years. He was Communications Development Manager in the Marketing Operations Department at Coca-Cola USA in Atlanta from 1973 until 1981. Bud volunteers on the clergy staff at All Saints Episcopal Church, Pasadena. He speaks to groups often on topics of addiction and spirituality.
