Call for Presenters: Spring 2011 “The Moment of Change” 7th Annual Conference on Intervention

Dear Addiction & Mental Health Professionals/Interventionists,

Foundations Recovery Network is pleased to announce that we are actively planning the agenda for our national intervention conference to be held on the West Coast at JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa, Palm Desert, CA from April 6-8, 2011. The conference is again entitled “The Moment of Change—Intervention: Approaches for Professionals,” and we are now accepting submissions for speaking proposals. Topics should relate to current trends in intervention as related to methodology of treating addiction and mental illness. Our Conference Committee is currently receiving and reviewing material from possible keynote and workshop presenters for the program as well as assigning positions for Co-Hosts and Sponsors.

If you or your agency can indentify an expert on this topic, please submit via email (simply reply or attach the form in a separate email) the included “MOC 2011 Speaker Candidate” form along with:

1) Basic/short Biography
2) Head shot/picture
3) Up to three possible topics

The final deadline for all submissions is July 30, 2010 in order to meet the Conference Committee’s review schedule and print preparation deadlines. If you have already submitted your proposal, thank you and please disregard this message.
