In this high-definition video essay, Kevin McCauley explores the arguments for and against this vital debate. Using the spectacular vistas and landscapes of Utah’s State and National Parks, Dr. McCauley presents the latest neuroscientific research and uses the landscape to describe the areas of the brain involved in addiction, turning complex neuro-science into easy to grasp visual images that will help people in recovery feel better understood and their
families and friends feel hope that recovery is possible.
