Andrew,

I'm a fiction writer who sobered-up in 1986. I used to be in the Merchant Marine and went to Panama every 16 days. I've been more than fortunate, these past years. Miracles have occurred in my life.
I'm now 56,000 words into my next novel and I'm stuck. I don't know if life coaching is what I need. As you might guess, I'm totally perplexed and don't know where to turn. I live in a suburb of Washington, D.C. There are no writers around here -- just democrats and republicans, and they're no help.
My second novel is now audio – like old time radio. Check it out. All you have to do is listen. It’ll make you laff. Go to www.NewFiction.com

Hi Andrew, Thanks for sharing this wonderful article on your recovery coaching tools and the distinction between coaching and therapy! As a personal coach, I often share these same differences to set a good foundation within the coaching relationship and to establish the professional scope. When I work with coaching client's therapists it really helps the client to gain major strides. Have a joyous season!

Interesting article and makes good sense. Would like to extrapolate concepts to our treatment of severely mentally ill (some dual diagnosis with substance abuse) and thus am asking for further resouces/references for our case managers.

Thank you.
